TaxCOOP2020 The World Tax Summit

The need for open dialogue and transparency in international tax policy led TaxCOOP, after five years of conferences, to broaden its horizons by organizing TaxCOOP2020- World Tax Summit, from October 13 to 15, 2020.

The TaxCOOP2020- World Tax Summit will bring together people from all over the world in a program provided free of charge and completely online. In parallel, if standards of social distancing allow, the day of October 15 will bring together participants at the Montreal Science Center.

TaxCOOP2020 – World Tax Summit is free and elligible for the purposes of the Regulation respecting mandatory continuing education of the Quebec CPA Order.

On the program of TaxCOOP2020 – World Tax Summit, discussions on environmental tax reform, a global minimum tax, corporate taxation, SME’s taxation, developing countries, and taxation of the digital economy will be on the agenda. These topics will be addressed by our guest speakers, politicians, NGO spokespersons, business CEOs, and researchers.

TaxCOOP is launching a Go Green competition for students at the college or university levels, who are invited to submit proposals for environmentally-friendly tax measures.

The five best student proposals will each receive a bursary of CDN$1,000
